Put the “I” in Quit.

Most smokers don’t plan to fail, they fail to plan!

Every accomplishment starts with a strong plan, and quitting is no different.

Give yourself a chance at success by preparing for the different phases of quitting.

I Plan

This is the time where you figure out how you are going to quit. It is recommended to start planning at least 14 days prior to your quit date.

In addition, you will need to make a plan for before, during, and after your “Quit Day”. We can help get you started on your plan to succeed.

I Quit

Your “Quit Day” is when you put your planning into action and start your nicotine & tobacco free life.

This is when you’d begin regular meetings with your healthcare team, group support sessions, and medications to help with nicotine withdrawal. Pay attention to what is and is not working on your journey.

I Remain

Since most relapses happen in the first 10 days after quitting, reaching this stage is a big step in your quit journey. Here, you’ll continue with your appointments, sessions, and medications.

Continue to monitor your successes and communicate honestly with your quit team about changes you might need to make to your plan.

I Sustain

After about a month since quitting, it’s time to start examining your achievements by looking at the positive benefits of being a former smoker or nicotine user!

Learning to be healthier and wiser with your choices and avoiding possible relapse triggers are key to staying smoke free.
