Delight in a delicious meal on a historic bridge, soak in the serene countryside, enjoy live music and the company of new found friends. After dinner, you will return to Dalton Union Winery to enjoy a glass of one of their signature beverages. Our Mobile Medical Unit will be onsite, available for touring as well!

Expect to return to Dalton Union Winery & Brewery by 9:30pm

Proceeds benefit the services of the Lung Health Center at The Breathing Association, helping people live better lives by breathing better for over 115 years.

Handicap accessibility?
The bridge is, and will have handicapped port-a-john facilities, however the trolley itself is not handicapped accessible. Please let us know if you or your guest need assistance with a handicapped accessible option.

Does the Bridge have a Restroom Facility?
Yes, accommodations are available, the Bridge does not have running water but we have planned ahead and there will be portable toilets on site.

What should I wear?
Attire is casual. As the Pottersburg Bridge is an outdoor venue and can be breezy at times, we recommend that you bring a jacket or wear extra layers, if desired.

What is the purchase policy? Can I get a refund once purchased?
Due to the nature of the events, no refunds or credits will be given if the participant is unable to attend.

What is your weather policy?
All events proceed rain or shine. Although the Pottersburg Bridge is covered, we recommend that you dress for inclement weather. In the case of an event being postponed due to circumstances beyond our control, the Union County Convention & Visitors Bureau will reschedule said event and all purchases will be honored for the rescheduled future event date. No monetary refunds will be issued.

May I park at the Pottersburg Bridge, if I’m mostly just interested in the dining component of the experience?
As parking is limited and often unsafe, we do not allow participants to park at the Pottersburg Bridge. Please park your vehicle at Dalton Union Winery and enjoy the total experience.

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes, please indicate any dietary restrictions in the comments section when making your reservation and we will attempt to accommodate your request by emailing Jennifer at [email protected]

Are the Dine on a Covered Bridge events family-friendly?
Although we enjoy showcasing the fun family-friendly options in Union County, the new Dine on a Covered Bridge Trolley Tour Series is an adult-focused event.

This Mother’s Day, Make An Impact

Celebrate the Breathing Association’s 115th anniversary this Mother’s Day with a special bouquet designed by our partners at DeSantis.

Mother’s Day has been a very special tradition for our organization for over 100 years. Our founder, Carrie Nelson Black, was a Victorian woman ahead of her time. As a visionary and civic leader, she motivated others to share her passion of caring for the “sick poor,” all while never drawing a paycheck.

A mother of three children, Mrs. Black prevailed upon Governor Judson Harmon in 1911 to issue the first Mother’s Day Proclamation in Ohio. This year, we honor her legacy by raising funds for the populations Mrs. Black deeply cared for!

Celebrate all of the moms in your life with a beautiful bouquet from DeSantis Florist.

Bouquets are $115, and all proceeds help us create a world where people breathe easier! Please make your tax-deductible gift (*) with a specially designed Breathing Association bouquet from DeSantis Florist.

(*) Regarding your payment, 50% is a tax-deductible gift and the other 50% goes toward the value of the flowers plus deliver. The Breathing Association is a non-profit organization 501 (c) (3).

Free COVID-19 Vaccines

Free COVID-19 Vaccines

The Breathing Association will be administering free COVID-19 vaccines to the community in February and March! Just as our X-ray Cruiser increased access to tuberculosis diagnostic tests in the 1950s, today our Mobile Medical Unit is increasing access to lifesaving COVID-19 vaccines.

COVID-19 vaccines are safe, effective, and free. Getting a vaccine is a safer way to build protection than getting sick with COVID-19, and getting vaccinated may also protect people around you, particularly people at increased risk for severe illness from COVID-19.

Vaccines will be available at the Nelson Park Apartments on February 26 and at The Academy for Urban Scholars on March 24.

Date:
Saturday, May 21st

Time:
11:00AM-3:00PM

Location:
220 W Johnstown Road Gahanna, OH 43230 (East)

Didn’t make it to our Mobile Medical Unit while it was in your community? No worries! You can still receive a FREE COVID-19 Vaccine at Our Lung Health Clinic.
